We’re Looking For…

Someone with a passion for materials and an understanding of what it takes to develop a material that people will remember. Externally, you will be a primary contact with supply chain partners. Strong interpersonal and written communication are essential to your success. Internally, you will work alongside teams from our Quality, Process Development, and Manufacturing departments to get material into the hands of customers. To be a superstar, you must be organized, a people person and driven to continue until the product is right. The ideal candidate will have experience working with leather or vegan leather. Due to the nature of this role, this role is on-site at our facility in Arnhem, NL.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in textile development or related fields
• BS (or greater) in Textile Engineering, Textile Science, Leather Technology, or Materials Science
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of the current consumer market
• Ability to interpret test results and turn them into next steps
• Ability to manage projects including timelines and communication
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with supply chain stakeholders
• Ability to use project management software and standard business softwares
• Ability to travel internationally up to 50% of time (split between EU and US)
• Fluency in English required. Dutch, German language skills a plus (language courses available)
• Driver’s license and ability to drive in the EU
