ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, and driven individual to help the instrumentation engineering team. This is a great opportunity to obtain a lot of engineering experience!

The duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Follow engineering instructions, circuit schematic, drawings, and diagrams
  • Build instrumentation assemblies and test fixtures per engineering instructions
  • Conduct engineering tests and experiments
  • Assembly of first article/prototype instruments
  • Participate in the design and maintenance of electronic circuit boards

  • Senior year working towards a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related major
  • Have hands-on experience in building engineering devices (lab classes ok)
  • Understanding of electronic lab equipment and mechanical tools
  • Familiarity with biological fundamentals
  • Effective communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of Python, C, or C++

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a paid internship opportunity that will vary in duration, depending upon the business needs and graduation date of the intern. Interested applicants must be willing to work 2 to 3 days per week on-site (primarily Monday through Friday during school).
