ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

The Assignment…
We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual to join the R&D Team as Research Associate. This
exciting and challenging role is responsible for performing studies related to current and future product
development. The position will be critical in generating analytical and experimental data related to
Mission Bio’s products.

1. A B.S. / B.A. in Molecular Biology / Cell Biology / Biochemistry or associated fields with at least
one year, preferably two years of research experience.

2. Hands-on experience with a range of genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell
biology techniques. Examples include single cell analysis, NGS library prep, real-time PCR, and/or tissue
culture techniques.
3. Experience with single-cell technology, emulsion PCR and/or analysis of FFPE samples would be
a definite plus, but not required.
4. A good understanding of general principles of chemistry and biochemistry.
5. Demonstrated ability to learn and understand new scientific concepts and apply them to
evolving project needs.
6. Demonstrated strong technical laboratory skills.
7. Excellent skills in communication, documentation, organization and time management.
