ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Systems Engineer Intern. This exciting and challenging role is responsible for design of electronics and software systems to improve and develop future customer facing products for mission bio. This position will generate documentation around designs and directly assist senior engineers in problem solving real world applications.

• Follow engineering instructions, circuit schematic, drawings and diagrams
• Build standard and flex cable assemblies per engineering instructions
• Assemble first article / prototype instruments
• Build test and assembly fixtures
• Conduct engineering tests and experiments with biologic samples

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Senior year or graduated with a degree in bioengineering preferred
• Have understanding of electronic lab equipment
• Have good understanding of Python, C, or C++
• Familiarity with biological fundamentals
• Electronics design experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
