ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

The Specifics…

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Sales Team as Western Region Manager who will lead our field-based sales team as well as an inside sales representative who supports the district’s field-based team.  This role will be responsible for leading the execution of Mission Bio’s commercial strategies and ensuring budgeted annual sales objectives are met within designated territories and the district. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate individual with a driven, curious, and collaborative spirit to join the team at Mission Bio, ensure the company’s success by driving their team to achieve revenue targets and play a key role in enabling our customers’ goals of making precision medicine a reality.

  • Develop, implement and monitor the district business plan to meet assigned revenue and strategic objectives
  • Responsible for the direction, support and motivation of the district sales team to meet targets and objectives
  • Routinely and accurately forecast customer demand (i.e., product quantities and dollars, orders shipments) and communicate that information to sales leadership
  • Ensure that sales staff achieves their forecasts, follows company guidelines/practices/policies, and provide timely development plans to correct for underperformance
  • Responsible for the recruitment, development, retention, and management of the district sales team
  • Create a sense of urgency and drive accountability within the regional team to meet both financial and strategic goals
  • Responsible for ensuring Salesforce.com is updated and compliant with company policies and practices
  • Must be able to communicate technical information on single-cell technologies to a sophisticated audience

 

Travel

  • Overnight travel up to 60% of the time based on territory

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maintain a home office and travel overnight up to 60% of the time based on the territory.    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • Work 100% remotely, maintaining a home office within reasonable proximity to major airport
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle, car insurance, and acceptable driving record
