Designer at DotLab

At DotLab, we are at the forefront of the future of women's healthcare technology as we prepare to launch the first-ever non-invasive test for endometriosis--a disease that affects 1 in 10 women worldwide and is a top cause of infertility. 

We are now looking for a Designer with strong visual and UX design skills to join our team and contribute to the launch and growth of our product. 



-Help establish the look and feel for various aspects of the digital product, including the website, emails, and other aspects of the user experience

-Lead development of brand style guide that informs brand’s style and voice across digital and non-digital platforms

-Help develop presentations and other materials for corporate events and meetings

-Work closely with marketing team to design and develop physician- and patient-facing collateral

-Collaborate with Product Manager and front- and back-end software engineers on day-to-day activities related to digital product 

-Source and resize assets and create layouts for different devices -- web, mobile, and tablet

-Work closely with company leadership, including the CEO, to ensure design accurately reflects product and company brand and vision



-Bachelor’s degree in design

-Minimum of 4 years of work experience in visual design, preferably at a consumer tech company

-Experience in illustration, typography, photography, layout, animation, and UX

-Well rounded portfolio, including experience with websites, brochures, ads, etc.

-Highly refined aesthetic sense and deep understanding of composition, balance, symmetry, and whitespace

-Firm grasp of design tools, such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

-Understanding of web design issues, such as browser usability and cross-platform compatibility

-Ability to juggle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations

-Capable of working both collaboratively and autonomously

-Strong written and verbal communication skills
