Sourcing Manager at Science Exchange

We are looking for someone to join our growing team who has a strong research background (experience in drug discovery or clinical trial research preferred) and is ready for a new opportunity. As the Sourcing Manager, you are the closest link to the researchers using our platform and the primary liaison for our clients looking for providers for their outsourced projects. You will be an advocate and trusted advisor for our scientific customers, helping them find the best service provider for their projects to move their research forward rapidly. Your energy and passion about the Science Exchange mission will play a crucial role in improving understanding and generating excitement in the research community


Manage our concierge sourcing service by consulting researchers to assess and find CROs and academic core labs who best meet their needs and can provide the required services for complex scientific experiments
Create great impressions on our customers with your broad scientific knowledge and understanding of various protocols and become the trusted and resourceful advisor to researchers
Manage customer projects, facilitate communication, outreach, and project management
Actively engage labs, contacting new suppliers, and build a deep understanding of our suppliers’ capabilities and educating existing ones about Science Exchange and serve as a champion of our value propositions
Be a Science Exchange product expert so that you can help current and potential users advance their research objectives
Contribute to community outreach, marketing, and partnership initiatives


MS or Ph.D in the physical or life sciences required
Must be comfortable discussing and presenting scientific topics in person or remotely, and demonstrate a high-level understanding of scientific concepts, with ability to research areas which may not be your expertise
2-4 years of consulting, industry research or account management, or related research experience, preferably in drug discovery or clinical trials research
Excellent customer facing communication and outreach skills, responding rapidly to customer inquiries, drafting concise and informative emails and phone calls
Outstanding organization, planning, and critical thinking skills; you should be detail-oriented and able to organize your own workflow
As a remote employee, you must be self-driven, independent and able to communicate your progress cross functionally with all teams at Science Exchange.
