Notable Labs seeks a Reagent Manufacturing Manager to develop reagent manufacturing processes, formulate reagents at scale, define QC processes, conduct stability studies and create manufacturing SOP’s. What You Will Be Doing:

Carry out manufacturing processes such as the creation of reagents, antibodies, and enzymes, in an automated clinical and research laboratory
Operate production equipment and monitor process parameters including temperature, pressure, pH and agitation speed in order to produce buffers and media according to specification.
Assist in the receiving, handling, and monitoring of quantities of raw materials and finished products
Develop quality control tests for reagent qualification and stability testing
Maintain thorough, accurate and detailed documentation in batch records of all work produced
Document manufacturing activities and quality control results and deviationsIdentify and help implement process changes to streamline throughput of reagent manufacturing, including the introduction of process automation and identifying LIMS requirements
Partner with R&D and production scientists to troubleshoot and problem solve processing issues, provide custom materials for customer evaluation and/or identify process improvement opportunities within the plant to improve efficiencies and/or processes.
Create SOPs for all manufacturing related processes, and act as subject matter expert for revisions or improvements to manufacturing documents
Work closely with both R&D and production teams to create a shared core resource

Who You Are:

BS in Chemistry or AAS degree in Process Technology (or equivalent) and a minimum of 4 years as a Reagent Manufacturing Supervisor in a relevant field. More than 5 years of experience as a Reagent Manufacturing Supervisor in a relevant field will be considered in lieu of degree.
2+ years of QC testing
The ability to be cross-trained to perform other job duties as needed
Proficiency with concentration calculations and dilution measurements related to safe handling of materials and maintaining an overall priority on safety within a production environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to develop and follow written procedures
Adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with automated instrumentation (Hamilton Liquid Handler and Echo acoustic liquid handler) is a plus.
